It's A Brand New Day

'Never' and 'always' are such powerful words that the received wisdom is that they should be avoided in discussions with our partners.  "You NEVER load the dishwasher correctly", "You ALWAYS call your cooking Cajun when in fact you've just actually burnt it" - oops, maybe a little too specific there, but the gist is that Never and Always inhibit the opportunity for change and seeing newness and nuances that can be seized and enjoyed.

However, as we currently rotate Pavel Kostiuk's classic, Brand New Day (big up Vanessa Freeman on vocals) it reminds us that there will indeed never, in our current consciousness, be another day like this.  Ever.  There may be another 4th of August.  But never a 4th of August 2022.  It is brand new and as such, full of infinite new possibilities and opportunities.  To be new.  To be a little bit different from yesterday.  We can change who we are from one day to the next in the name of progress.  We don't have to stay stuck just because most things seem to be the same as yesterday.  They're not.  We're not.  We move.  We grow.
